Telework

Telework means to work at any location other than a central worksite and has many benefits including: more effective employees, lower real estate costs, reduced traffic volume, higher quality of life, etc. In recognition of these benefits, Governor Kaine established the Office of Telework Promotion and Broadband Assistance (OTPBA) in 2006. Among other things, the OTPBA promotes and encourages the use of telework policies for public and private employees.
