June 18th – Virginia WISPA Conference at the Capitol in Richmond join us and Virginia’s Secretary of Technology (Karen Jackson) to learn about fixed wireless broadband technology and meet the companies that can deliver broadband to rural areas.
July 22 – Virginia APA Conference – Wintergreen – We are speaking on “Don’t Plan without Broadband” – Broadband impacts every area of community life: education, employment, healthcare, public safety and the economy. Communities that lack adequate and affordable broadband access are going to quickly fall behind in all of these areas – the digital divide is very real and is growing exponentially. Planners have a tremendous opportunity to ensure their communities are “broadband friendly” — a place where the Internet service providers are willing to expand service.
